Licensing board names and links are current as of the research pass that built this site. Wage figures are sourced from the BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) program, via O*NET OnLine, 2025 data (pages updated May 19, 2026). Initial research had pulled figures from secondary aggregator sites that disagreed with each other by a wide margin - notably Illinois electricians, where aggregators ranged from $59,489 to $88,900 versus the actual BLS figure of $99,560 - which is exactly why every figure here now traces to BLS OEWS directly rather than a blog estimate.
